During the Bay Area Mini Maker Faire in 2017, Katy (left in the image above) demonstrated her project; a hackable umbrella lined with beautiful LED light patterns that she programmed herself. We're so proud of Katy and of the inspiration she brings to Code Hobbits.

Student Reflection

Not only did I learn things at Code Hobbits that you can't learn anywhere else, I made important friendships with people that I would never known if I had not chosen to be a part.
