Class Description

This class is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge required to effectively analyze and visualize environmental data using the Python programming language. Students will engage in hands-on learning and practical application of various Python libraries and tools to process, analyze, and visualize diverse environmental datasets. This class is part of our Code & Grow program. What you will learn: * Python programming (Intermediate-Level) * Python libraries like Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly * Data manipulation and cleaning * Statistical analysis and hypothesis testing * Visualization techniques Designed for: 8 - 11 graders Difficulty Level: Intermediate Prerequisites: Plant Care Automation with Raspberry Pi and Python class When: Saturdays 10 AM - 11:45 AM PST from February 10 through April 20 Where: Ohlone College, 43600 Mission Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539 What to bring to class: Students are required to bring their own Mac OS-based or Windows-based laptop. All other materials will be provided in class. Please note that Chromebooks are NOT supported for this class.
